I am attending an internet marketing seminar and I met Ted Nicholas for the first time.
I must admit I was very much impressed by his great knowledge on copywriting and marketing. He was marketing when I was still in diapers! He also impressed me by his sharp memory, speaking for over 6 hours without any notes...
He shared a story I never heard before about the power of words.
The ex-beatles Paul McCartney had lost his mother, who was named Mary, at the age of 13. One night he went to be very upset. As he was sleeping, he dreamed of her and heard her distincively say:" let it be, let it be..."
He got up and wrote in about twenty minutes the now famous song "Let it be,let it be..."
Now when I hear this song, the words will have a more powerful meaning to me.
As I go to bed tonight, I will remind myself mother Mary's whispering words of wisdom as, I too have been upset by a friend today.
